Priscilla Dean Lancaster Taylor, 92, died on April 27, 2019 at the Summit Health & Rehabilitation in Lynchburg, Virginia.

She was the daughter of the late Harry Burnham Lancaster, Sr. and Hazel Viola Lilly Lancaster of Saugus, Massachusetts. Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John Alexander Taylor, Jr. Priscilla is survived by a brother Harry “Burnie” Burnham Lancaster (Connie), two nephews, and three nieces of Massachusetts, a daughter Marcia T. Logwood (J.D.) of Virginia Beach, VA, two sons Brian B. Taylor of Charlottesville, VA, and Gary A. Taylor (Rob) of Boynton Beach, FL, two granddaughters, Megan L. Dunstan (Matt) of Gates, NC, and Bethany C. Logwood of Virginia Beach, VA, and four great-grandchildren; Sean, Ryan, Lilly and Alex Dunstan.

Priscilla was a long time member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked as a medical technician at Lynn Hospital in Lynn, Massachusetts and F. Read Hopkins Pediatric Associates in Lynchburg, VA. Priscilla retained her Boston accent throughout her life.

A Memorial Service for Priscilla will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis S. Roberts officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church. Interment will be held privately at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Lynchburg Humane Society or to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
