Priscilla Ann Irvine

Priscilla Ann Irvine, a loving and caring soul, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on April 26, 1945, Priscilla was a devoted wife, mother, grand mother, great grand mother and friend who touched the lives of anyone whom she came into contact with her unwavering faith and compassionate spirit. 

As a devout Christian who loved the lord, she showed her faith through her life as a living testimony. She enjoyed her career in the insurance industry but more specifically she loved working at Scott & Wilson. When not working she was passionate about her grand children. She enjoyed shopping with her grand daughters as much as she could. She also enjoyed the outdoors watching her grand children play sports. Her favorite vacation places were Gatlinburg, the beach and the Pennsylvania amish country. 

Priscilla is survived by her beloved husband, Earl W. Irvine; her cherished daughter, Toni Short; and her devoted son, Jason Irvine, along with his wife, Chris. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love and devotion, remembering the warmth she brought to their lives. Priscilla was blessed with eight grandchildren whom she adored, Jason Sundwall (Tasha), Cameron Short, Megan Chester (Steve), Alaric West (Heather), Brandon West, Chloe Hall (Devin), Dawson West, and Eylnn Irvine; along with nine great grandchildren, two brothers, Melvin Campbell and Gleason Campbell. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Layne, whose memory will forever be held close to the hearts of those she left behind. 

Priscilla's life was a testament to the profound impact one individual can have on their community and family. Her loving nature and caring demeanor created a welcoming environment for family gatherings and friendships, making everyone who knew her feel valued and adored. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to share her journey. 

The family will be receiving friends and family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Tharp funeral home, Madison Heights. A celebration of Priscilla's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, in the chapel of Tharp funeral home, Madison Heights.
