Her husband was an engineer with the French textile industry, Prouvost & Co. He was instrumental in establishing French textile firms on the east coast. She adored her family, was fiercely independent throughout her life, was a superb French cook, and an avid reader. She loved to keep up with current events on her laptop, following the news both here and abroad. She was kind, generous of spirit and full of “joie de vivreâ€. She will be buried next to her husband and son at the family plot at Biggins Church Cemetery, Moncks Corner. Her graveside service will be conducted by the Abbot of Mepkin Abbey, Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
