Our precious Rachel Rose Adelstein passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at age 22.
She is a daughter of Mary Ann Adelstein and Marc Adelstein of Lynchburg.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pat and Jim Luth and her uncles, Ray Diederich and Jamie Humphreys.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her brothers, Max and Holden; sister, Carly; her grandparents, Barbara and John Gordon; her aunts Hope Kessler, Janice Luth (Dennis Goff), Kathryn Sparhawk (Tom), Sandra Diederich, Virginia Blanks (Greg), and many cousins who love her very much.
Rachel graduated from Heritage High School in 2014. She loved animals and many of her rescues are still beloved members of the family. She was a talented athlete, artist, musician, and songwriter. Rachel’s time with us was too short, but she will live and sing in our hearts forever.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg, Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow at 4:00 p.m in the Tharp Chapel.
