Raleigh Earl Wright, of Madison Heights, Va. died Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
Born January 24, 1937 in Madison Heights, Raleigh was the son of the late Aubrey Earl Wright and the late Flora Lois Wright. He loved baseball, blue grass music and Dr. Pepper. His kind and thoughtful nature will be remembered by all who knew him.
Raleigh is survived by his brother, Clayton Wright and his wife, Peggy of Forest; his niece, Rebecca Hughes and her husband, Eric Hughes of Lynchburg; niece, Donna Wright of Forest; nephew, Steve Wright and his wife, Bobbie of Southmont, N. C.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights, 118 Commonwealth Dr. The interment will be held privately at Meade Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Monelison Volunteer Rescue Squad. P.O. Box 56, Madison Heights, Va 24571.
