Ralph B. Cisco

Ralph B. Cisco, 92, of Arrington, VA, died Saturday, February 26, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou. Ralph was born in Wyalusing, PA to the late Harry and Beryl Cisco. Ralph honorably served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was retired from the Newport News Shipyard as a welding supervisor.

Ralph is survived by his daughter Karen L. McCurdy, which he lived with the last three years.

One of Ralph’s hobbies that he loved was fishing, whether it was in his boat or standing on his dock at Smith Mtn Lake where he lived for over 25 years. He had many friends in the Snidow subdivision. He also loved gardening and having flowers everywhere. He also loved doing jigsaw puzzles and tried his hand with paint by numbers.

He was a good man, always lending a helping hand, doing things for others without hesitation and asking nothing in return. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 5-7pm at Tharp Funeral Home in Madison Heights, Virginia.
