Ralph B. Wilson, 77, of Forest, died Saturday, February 09, 2019.
Born Tuesday, November 11, 1941 in Johnson City, TN, Ralph was a son of the late Denver Wilson and the late Almeda Johnson Wilson.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Bondurant, and two brothers, James and Richard Wilson.
Ralph is survived by two sisters, Lola Merkey and Faye Farrar, four brothers, Guy Wilson, Larry Wilson and his wife, Susan, Charles Wilson, and Jerry Wilson and his wife, Jeanette, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ralph proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. He loved his family. Never in a bad mood, he never complained about anything and you would never find a frown on his face. An avid sportsman, he especially loved to play golf. A long time employee of the Lynchburg Foundry, Ralph work there over 25 years.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with military honors provided by American Legion Post-16.
