Ralph Francis “R.F.” Spriggs, II, 50, of Lynchburg completed his journey in life on Sunday, March 11, 2018, when he passed away peacefully at Lynchburg General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born Thursday, December 21, 1967 in Lynchburg, R. F. was a son of Doris Lee Cralle Spriggs and the late Ralph Francis Spriggs.
In addition to his mother, R.F. is survived by his son, Joseph Tyler Spriggs; of Lynchburg; two sisters, Caroline Fenner Spriggs, of Virginia Beach, and Laura Spriggs Moore, and her husband, Steve, of Lynchburg; three nieces, Alex Lee Arthur, Lilly Francis Moore, and Caroline Ann Moore, all of Lynchburg.
R.F. never met a stranger, he had such a big heart and a special love for his family and friends. R.F. was a compassionate young man who had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and horseback riding.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery.
