Ralph Frederick Doehne
Ralph Frederick Doehne, 80, of Thaxton, passed away on February 8, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Kate Steuding Doehne, and his brother Harry A. Doehne. He was born in Danbury, Connecticut on Nov 27, 1930 and attended Hawley High School, Newtown, CT.
He was a Veteran of The Korean War, a graduate of Michigan State University and served as a Criminal Investigator, Special Agent with the United States Department of the Treasury. He was the owner of Robincrest Park, LLC.
Ralph leaves his beloved wife of 50 years, Viola Allen Doehne; two daughters, Diana Abel and her husband Rick, of Thaxton, Anna Holland and her husband Randy, of Thaxton; granddaughter, Kacie Holland; a sister, Helga Hoag and brother-in-law, Ralph Hoag of Quantico, MD; a sister-in-law, Elin Doehne of Novato, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Montvale Life Saving Crew, Montvale Fire Department, Bedford Life Saving Crew, or Bedford Volunteer Fire Department.
