Ralph Roger Thornton, 80, of Rustburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He was the husband of Thelma Thornton, and a son of the late Ralph Thornton and the late Gertrude Taylor.
Ralph was born on August 20, 1931 in Jasper County, IA. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a supervisor, and attended the Bread Of Life Church in Rustburg.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by their son, Jim Thornton of Lynchburg.
