Randall Kim Hailey

Mr. Randall Kim Hailey, 71, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on November 7, 2023.  He was the son of the late Raymond Aubrey Hailey and Anna Lee Nash Hailey.

Mr. Hailey was born on March 5, 1952, in Farmville, Virginia.  He grew up in Keysville, Virginia, attending school at Randolph Henry High School with the graduating class of 1970.

Mr. Hailey bravely served his country in the Air National Guard. He was a devoted employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad until retirement. Often, you could find Mr. Hailey on the golf course or cooking homemade meals for his family and friends.   

He is survived by his son, Joshua Ryan Hailey (Bailey) of Nashville, TN and daughter, Emily Paige Hibbitts (David) of Gainesville, FL.; granddaughters, Ophelia Rose Hibbitts and Violet Louise Hibbitts; companion of 18 years, Yvonne Dorr of Lynchburg, VA; and brother, Raymond Aubrey Hailey, Jr. of Richmond, Va.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hailey is predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Ann Roach, and brothers, Ronald Nash Hailey, Reginald Lee Hailey, and Roy Blanding Hailey.

The family will celebrate his life in a private family ceremony.
