Randall Lee Dodd

Randall Lee (Randy) Dodd unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack at Roanoke Memorial on November 19. He was 55 years old.
He is survived by his partner, Vicki Bulson, her daughters Ilia Belcher and Amber Meador (Tim) and their children Ava and Jackson. Also surviving are sisters Dena Newt, Linda McCreary and Rhonda Rhea, brother David Dodd and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maxine and James Dodd and brother Jamie Dodd.
Randy’s passions included gardening, fishing and cooking. He was a 25-year employee of Texas Tavern in downtown Roanoke, where he was loved by his fellow employees and customers. He will be sorely missed by the Roanoke community.
Due to COVID, there will be no formal service until a later date. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Roanoke is assisting the family.
