Randall Scott Greene, recently of Lynchburg passed away October 16, 2017. Randy was unmarried, untroubled, joyful in life, caring in thought, wise in counsel, stubborn in will generous in spirit and a joy to his family and friends.
The second son of Hartley and Novella Greene, Randy is survived by his brother, Tim, two sisters, Becky and Robin, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Apart from his professional, technical career, mechanical tinkering and time spent enjoying life with loved ones, Randy committed many years to supporting archeological research in Israel with Associates for Biblical Research. His experiences with ABR and friends he made there enriched his life beyond measure.
Randy was a great son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and as solid and dependable as a man can be. He was also very, very funny having endless stories and tales to share. Our lives will be a little duller and the world a little dimmer without him. You are gone too soon, brother, but we rejoice in your reward.
A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Tharp Funeral; Home, Lynchburg. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12: 00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to ABR, 650 Main Street, Akron PA, 17501.
