Randolph Hamilton Hight, 79, of Rustburg, Va passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Salisbury, NC., January 6, 1942, he was a son of the late Harvey L, Hight and Mable Tinnell Hight.
He was preceded in death by brother, David G. Hight ; sister, Virginia L. Jennings and her husband Bill; sister-in-law Jackie Powell Hight; and brother-in-law James (Jimmy) C. Arthur.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis Hight; son Randolph (Randy) H. Hight 2nd of Rustburg, M. David Goff Jr and his wife Kim of Lynchburg, daughter Janet L. Goff and devoted friend Christine Christon of Richmond; Graham L. Hight and wife Gloria of Lynchburg ; Robert M. Hight of Lynchburg, sister Lucille (TEE) Seay and husband Jessie of Rustburg, sister-in-law Sue Arthur of Rustburg.
Granddaughters Kiera L. Hight, Krista M Hight of Rustburg and Misty A. Arthur and husband Jeb. Great Grandchildren, Jasmine M Arthur and Zachary (Zack) Arthur of Lynchburg, brother-in-law Willard (Buck) Arthur and wife Brenda, and sister-in-law Brenda Sue Carson. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Randolph was a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from Babcox and Wilcox, NNFD after 25 years. In 1994 until 2002, he served as VP of Interstate Janitorial, Inc.
