Rawleigh Taylor Myers “Walking Tall "of Lynchburg VA, tragically passed away on September 1, 2024. Rawleigh was born on July 15, 1956, to the late Rosamond T. and Ruth P Myers.
Rawleigh was preceded in death by his brothers William Bradshaw, Samuel Bradshaw, James Jackson, and a sister Elaine Bradshaw Clark.
Rawleigh was a graduate of Saint Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Virginia. He attended Tree of Life Midtown. Rawleigh inspired many in the community through teaching, coaching and being a friend.
Rawleigh leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted friend Catherine “Bug “Morton of Lynchburg, VA, his sisters; Doris Jefferson (Thomas) and Eula Jackson, one brother Alvin Jackson (Gloria) all of Lynchburg, VA his nieces, Lettrelle Wright (Thomas) of Lynchburg, VA, Laverne Booker (David) of Chester, VA Monique Claxton, of Lynchburg VA and his nephews Leroy Bradshaw, Leon Rose and Robert Arnold of Lynchburg VA.
He also leaves to cherish his memory, a host of nieces, nephews' cousins and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at 102 Jubilee Drive, Lynchburg, Va.
A service will be at 11 A.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Diamond Hill Baptist Church with a visitation one hour prior.
