Ray Lee Sullivan, 76, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, August 19, 2018. Born on July 19, 1942 in Dallas, Texas, Ray was the son of the late Larrel Ennis Sullivan and the late Cleone Whitten Sullivan.
He worked as a Commercial Artist for Atlas Match Company in Dallas, Texas, owned Sullivan Electronics in Abilene, Texas, and was an Engineer for Babcock & Wilcox of Lynchburg.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Peggy” Sullivan. They had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on August 17th. Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter Cynthia White and her husband, Brian, of Lynchburg, Va.; his son Christopher Sullivan of Woodbridge, Va.; his sister Laurel Hubbard and her husband, Robert, of Kyle, Texas; and his niece Heather Martin and her husband, Ben, of San Marcos, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Diane Baldwin officiating. Inurnment will take place in the columbarium at Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg following the service.
