Raymond Charles Wood, 17, of Lynchburg, Va., died Monday, March 27, 2017.
Raymond was born Wednesday, June 30, 1999 in Lynchburg, Va. He was a senior at Heritage High School. He enjoyed listening to and writing music while spending time with his older brother. He also enjoyed traveling and visiting his family.
Raymond is survived by his parents, Michael Pierce Wood, Marjorie C. Stagno and step-father, Christopher Robey; brother, Michael Joshua Wood; maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Stagno; paternal grandparents, Carolyn Davis and Joe Davis; four uncles, Dale Wood, James Gillispie, Jr., Robert West, Jr., John Franza; four aunts, Rosemarie West, Christina Franza, Maria Winkworth, Jennifer Wood; 14 cousins; a close family friend, Ashley Noble.
He was preceded in death by both grandfathers, Robert “Bobby” Wood and Raymond Charles Stagno, who he was named after; also, his Uncle David Salvatore Stagno II.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
