Raymond Triplett
Raymond Triplett, 68, of Lynchburg died Thursday July 29, 2010 at his home. He was the loving husband of Brenda Welch Triplett.
Raymond was born December 5, 1941 in Tazewell County the son of the late Mack Triplett and Ida Hardy Triplett. He worked as a supervisor at the Central Virginia Training Center for 37 years, loved hunting and fishing, and was a dedicated member of Christian Chapel in Lynchburg.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sisters; Lois Jackson and husband Lewis of Lynchburg, and Zennath Pauley and husband \"Doc\" of Rustburg, and a special sister-in-law Nancy Parton of Rustburg. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Robin Triplett, six brothers, and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Christian Chapel on Holiday St. in Lynchburg on Saturday August 7, 2010 with the Rev. Ray Triplett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Lynchburg Humane Society 3305 Naval Reserve Road Lynchburg, VA 24501.
