Raymond William “Donald” Tyree, Jr., age 70, of Amherst, Va. went to be with his Lord and savior on Friday, September 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda A. Tyree; father, Raymond W. Tyree, Sr.; mother, Inez Profitt Tyree; and a sister, Brenda Campbell.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Angie Gunter and her husband, Tony; grandson, T.J. Gunter; four sisters, one brother, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at the Tyree Family Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank Fairmont Crossing’s nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other staff members for the loving care they provided.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
