Rebecca “Becky” Bailey Adie, 76, of Concord passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
Becky was born May 7, 1943 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late John and Grace Bailey.
She was a member for over 50 years at Tyreeanna United Methodist Church. Becky was the treasurer and secretary for 34 years for Wayne’s Muffler Shop, and was a member of Concord Rescue Squad for seven years. Becky loved raising her great grandchildren and will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Becky is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wayne Adie; son, Brian Adie and wife Cara; granddaughter, Kellister Barricks; great grandchildren, Landen Gagneur, Ryan Barricks, and Killian Barricks and a host of extended family whom she loved dearly.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with a memorial service immediately following with Wimpy Martin officiating.
