Rebecca Gough Towler was born March 22,1930 and died February 12, 2022. The daughter of Edward Glover Gough and Blanche Aylor Gough.
Becky was a graduate of Brookville High School and Central Virginia Community College. She served as Administrative Assistant to the Engineering Dept of CVCC for many years. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Concord.
Becky was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Claiborne W. Towler; and her brother, Thomas E. Gough. She is survived by her sons, Kemper E. Towler of Henrico County and Kenneth C. Towler of Campbell County and by her sister, Elizabeth Gough Sollenberger of Woodstock, as well as by nieces Katie S. Cox, Mary S. Davis, Dabney Gough, and Elizabeth Gough-Gordon, and by her sister-in-law, Mary W. Gough.
Becky was known for her gardening and culinary skills. Those who were a guest in her home will recall her gift of hospitality.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the family farm.
