Remmington Malik Jones, 18, of Forest, Va., died Friday, August 14, 2015.
Born Saturday, December 7, 1996 in Lynchburg, Remmington was a son of Nincole Jones Calloway.
In addition to his mother, Remmington is survived by a brother, Cortdero Jones, of Lynchburg, Va.; a nephew, Kyron Jones of Irving, Texas; a niece, Mia Hathye, of Lynchburg, Va.
Remmington was preceded in death by grandfather, George Jones; grandmother, Barbara Jones; aunts, Rochelle Hughes and Melissa Claud; uncle, George E. Jones; cousins, Torrance Hughes, Kelsey Hughes, Malea Claud.
Remmington was a special child from the day he entered this world. Through all his trial and tribulation, he beat all odds. He touched so many people’s lives, and even with the challenges Remmie faced from his disability, everyone that encountered him loved him. He will be strongly missed.
A celebration of Remmington’s life will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg with Pastor Charles L. Ramey, Sr. officiating.
