Donald O. Cudworth, Sr., 70, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda R. Cudworth. Donald worked in the insurance business and retail, including Rite-Aid, Granite State Drug, and the Hasbro Toy Company. He was a graduate of Liberty University and was active in the Sports Outreach in Monroe, Va. and doing missionary work in Africa and Central America. He also was on staff at Redeeming Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jay Cudworth and wife, Jessy and Shane Cudworth and wife, Heather; six grandchildren, Kayla, Ruby, Dillon, Wyatt, Iain, and Ella; and one brother, Leon Dunbar.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. Interment will follow in Presbyterian Cemetery.
