Richard Creely Booze, Jr.
Richard Creely Booze, Jr., 84, of Forest died Wednesday October 23, 2013 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of Brenda Robertson Booze for 30 wonderful years.
Richard was born December 24, 1928 in Richmond, the son of the late Richard Creely Booze, Sr. and the late Evelyn Dixon Booze. Richard attended Vanderbilt University and then graduated from East Tennessee State University. He was comptroller for the Mead Corporation in Lynchburg for 20 years and then retired as an auditor for the U.S. Government, Department of Defense.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Linda B. Seamans and her husband Michael of Louisville, KY, one sister Dorothy B. Lobertini and her husband Don of Atlanta, GA, and one grandson Shane Seamans and his wife Jill of Louisville, KY, one great-grandson Nolan Grey Seamans, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Phyllis Dickinson.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
