June 2, 1956-March 17, 2025

Richard Daniel Tucker, 68, passed away on March 17, 2025, at his home in Lynchburg, Virginia. Richard was born June 2, 1956, to the late David and Margie Johnson Tucker in Anne Arundel, Maryland.

Richard loved to fish and watch sports. He was a huge fan of the Clemson Tigers. He loved his wife, Norma, and his children, and grandchildren. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Tucker; six children, Joshua Tucker of Arizona, Jessica Griner of Georgia, Katelyn Spicer of North Carolina, Mary Hubbard of West Virginia, James Jenkins(Lisa Kelly) of Tappahannock, Virginia, Melissa Jenkins (Chris Idol) of Lynchburg, Virgina; two brothers, David Tucker of Georgia and John Tucker of South Carolina; sixteen grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews; his beloved fur babies, Maxwell and Autumn, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Tucker; a daughter, Angie Tucker and a nephew, David Corey Tucker.
