Rita Sadler, 66, of Lynchburg, passed peacefully at her residence on Saturday on March 13, 2021 in Lynchburg, VA. She was born in Newport News, VA on May 30, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Florence and Willie Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister Audrey Adams and former husband Ricky Sadler.
Rita enjoyed trips to VA beach and spending time with her children and grandchild. Rita is survived by her sons André and Kevin Sadler; daughter, Monique Sadler; granddaughter, Lynnise all of Lynchburg; brother in love, Herbert Adams and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
Due to the Covid Pandemic and in accordance with her request, there will be no formal visitation or service at this time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the needs of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
