Robert Castro

Robert Castro, (46), of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on April 22, 2025. He was the son of Joseph and Diane Castro. 

Robert was born on October 24th,1978, in Phoenix, Arizona. Robert, a multitalented craftsman, ran his own company, RLC Construction. He was an avid adrenaline seeker, always ready to ride and race anything with 4,2, even 3 wheels. Robert was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother and friend. The true type to give you the shirt off his back, which he did, literally even, a few times. 

Robert is survived by his wife, Nicole Castro; children, Breanna, Madeline, Charlotte, and Dominick Castro ; parents, Joseph and Diane Castro; brother, Michael Castro; nieces Kaitlyn, Sarah, and Lily Castro; aunts, Dorothy Gabbard, and Terri Blackman. Robert is preceded in death by grandparents, Louise Castro, and Robert and Renetta Pruitt; aunt, Deborah Pruitt; and uncle, Dominick Castro.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A visitation will be one hour prior. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg is assisting the family.
