Robert Edward Chaney

 

Robert Elwood Chaney 52, of Bedford, VA died on November 7, 2010 at home after struggling with lung cancer. He was born on March 20, 1958 in Annapolis, Maryland a son to Clara & Elwood Chaney of Gambrills, Maryland.Robert grew up in Maryland moving to Virginia in 2001. He is preceded in death by his mother, Clara Mitchell and survived by his father and stepmother, Elwood and Beatrice Chaney of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. His sister and brother in law, Joanne and James Wieland of Bedford, VA his nephew Christopher Schier of Largo, FL, his niece Stephanie Schier of Bedford, VA, his nephew Douglas Schier of Vinton, VA, and great nephews, Trent, Chase and Peyton. In addition he is survived by his stepbrother Douglas Barrick of Reno, Nevada, his stepsister JoAnn Selba of Glendale, Arizona, half sister Brenda Helm of Ellicott City, Maryland, half sister Marie Daniel of Houston, Texas, and half brother Ronald Chaney of Crownsville, Maryland. For the past nine years Robert was employed with Wal-Mart of Bedford, where he was an evening receiving associate. Roberts\"™s hobbies included classic and vintage cars, music, and extreme jigsaw puzzles.
