Robert Frank Degiovanni
Robert Frank DeGiovanni, 50, of Moneta, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at University of Virginia Medical Center. Born in Aberdeen, Maryland on April 20, 1961 a son of Alexander Francis DeGiovanni and the late Wilma Jean Goode.
Robert loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, going to the beach, music of all kinds, playing paintball, enjoying the outdoors especially fishing and his Dog Charlie. Robert is survived by his loving wife Susan H. DeGiovanni; Four children, Heather Vickers and her husband, Josh, Sarah Carlson and her husband, Mark, Alex DeGiovanni and Eric DeGiovanni; and two grandchildren, Pamela and Trinity Vickers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to National Rifle Association Inc., 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030; or St. Jude's Children's Research, 501 St. Jude's Pleace, Memphis, TN 38105.
A Memorial Funeral will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Resurrection Catholic Church with Chris Barrett officiating. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
