Robert George Inman, 72, of Madison Heights died Thursday, October 8, 2015. He was the husband of the late Carey Slough Inman.
George was born in Natural Bridge on December 24, 1942 a son of the late Robert L. Inman and Mamie Williams Inman. George honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by a son Ronald Inman and Regenia Rogers of Natural Bridge, a sister Sheila Snider of Roanoke and her husband Glen Snider of Natural Bridge, two nieces, Shana Snider of Natural Bridge and Dena Snider of Roanoke, two grandchildren, McKinley Rogers and Abigail Rogers both of Natural Bridge, a good friend and co-worker Terry Brooks and a special friend and companion Ronnie Lipscomb of Madison Heights.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights, 118 Commonwealth Dr.
