Robert James Kocsis

Robert James Kocsis, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on January 14, 1950, Robert leaves behind a legacy marked by his quick wit and a deep passion for life.

Throughout his career, Robert made significant contributions while working for Chevron Oil Refinery, where his dedication and expertise were widely recognized by colleagues and friends alike. Outside of work, he found joy in old cars and solving puzzles.

Robert is survived by his cherished daughters, Michele Koch and Tom McCall, and Kimberly Blount and her husband, Robert. He also leaves behind his son, Robert Kocsis, and wife, Christina. Robert’s grandchildren—Lorianne Rose, Erik, Morgan, Emma, Charles, Logan, Lena, and James—were lights in his life, bringing him immeasurable joy and pride.

He is survived by his brothers Michael Kocsis and his wife Sherry, and Richard Kocsis.

Robert was predeceased by his loving wife, Donna Lynne Kocsis, and his parents, Michael John Kocsis and Anna Claire Bennett Kocsis.
