Robert Lawrence Kaplan, 56, of Moneta, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of Carolyn LaBarca Kaplan.
Born May 15, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of Stanley Kaplan and the late Vera Ann Gargano Kaplan.
Robert is also survived by his daughter, Stephanie Kaplan, granddaughter, Alexis Kaplan, brother, Richard Kaplan and wife, Julie, sister, Lori Kaplan and husband, Richard; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford conducted by . Interment will follow in Holy Land Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
