Robert Lee Arrington, 66, of Forest, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015.
Born on March 2, 1949, Robert was a son of the late Leonard Booker Arrington and the late Louise Tyree Arrington. He was a devoted Christian, and drove a school bus for Bedford County Public Schools for many years. Also, he was an avid Washington Redskins fan and loved watching them play and flew their team’s colors proudly. Robert was a hard-working man with a heart of gold who would go out of his way to help his friends and family. He was loved by everyone who knew him, and he will be forever missed for his generosity and his loving spirit.
Left behind to cherish Robert’s memory are his wife, Brenda Arrington, his granddaughter, Denise Jones, his step-daughter, Angela Arthur, his step-grandsons, Ian Arthur and Liam Arthur, and numerous other family members, co-workers, and friends.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bill Evans officiating.
