Robert Lee Pruitt, Jr.

Robert Lee Pruitt, Jr. went home to be with Jesus June 24, 2023. He was a son of Robert Pruitt Sr. and the late Bertha Lillian Pruitt. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Samuel Pruitt and a brother, Ronald Dale Pruitt. He is survived by his wife, Pat; three children, Michelle Lee Pruitt, Marcus Jared Pruitt (Jess), and Michael Justin Pruitt; two granddaughters, Addison Grace Pruitt and Emma Rose Pruitt; grandson, Tyler Torrence; brothers, William Ray Pruitt and Donald Wayne Pruitt.

He was a kind, loving, devoted husband and father. Robert was in the U.S. Navy for eight years then went to work at B&W, Areva/Framatone for 35 years. He was also on Pedlar Fire and Rescue Squad for a few years. He will truly be missed, until we meet him again. A Visitation will be held at Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Madison Heights on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at Rock Haven Ministries Friday, June 30, 2023, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Amherst Cemetery.
