Robert Logan Dunlap, 65, of Lynchburg, died peacefully Monday, June 12, 2017. He lived in Arlington, Va. for thirty years with a career as a mortgage banker before moving to Lynchburg.
Born on November 7, 1951 in Lexington, Va., Robert was a son of James McKee Dunlap and Mary Carrington Owen Dunlap.
He is survived by his sister Nan Dugger of Lynchburg and her sons Owen and McCarron; two brothers McKee Dunlap and his wife, Terry of Lexington and their children Lisa and Sam; Owen Dunlap and his wife, Irish of Raleigh, N.C and their daughters Peyton and Ali.
The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Bedford Hospice House.
A family graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery in Lexington, Va. with Bill Klein officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contribution to the charity of your choice.
