Robert Louis Beatty, 61, of Forest died Sunday July 10, 2016 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville.
Robert was born July 27, 1954 in Marks, Mississippi a son of the late Louis Beatty and Ruby Russell Beatty of Forest. Robert honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a nuclear technician with Areva. He loved spending time with his family and especially playing cards.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his two brothers, James Beatty and his wife Michelle of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, and Raymond Beatty and his wife Patty of Forest, two nephews Zachary and Jackson Beatty both of Forest, and numerous cousins.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Robert at a later date.
