Robert Rider Clauss, Jr.
Robert Rider Clauss Jr., 62, of Rustburg, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010. He was the husband of Joan Margaret Cashion Clauss.
Bob was born September 30, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert R. Clauss, Sr. of Lynchburg and Patricia Gene Davis Sanders of Cassopolis, MI. He was the founder and former owner of The Lock Shop and a member of New Concord Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife, parents, and siblings, he is survived by his daughter, Jeaneen Clauss and children of Edgewater, FL; daughter, Morgan Holt (Chris) and children of Lynchburg; and son, Bradford Clauss (Loree) of Roanoke.
A celebration of Bob's life will be conducted at New Concord Presbyterian Church on Monday, August 30 at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Free Clinic of Central Virginia or to the Rustburg Rescue Squad.
