Robert W. Bogle

Robert Williams Bogle passed away quietly, Thursday, December 29, 2016, at home in the company of his loving family. He was born June 9, 1944, in Pulaski County, Virginia to Mary Otey Bogle and John Williams Bogle. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Sallie McWillie Freeman Bogle. His survivors include his children, Elizabeth Bogle Perkins and Robert Walker Williams Bogle. The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to his many friends who gave their love and support as well as the church community. A memorial service will be held 1pm Friday, January 6, 2017, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Lynchburg, Va. Tharp Funeral Home is assisting. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rob’s name can be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, Lynchburg Grows, or the Allen B. Pearson Cancer Center.
