Rochet Sydnor Blair
Rochet Sydnor Blair, 88, of Lynchburg, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. She was the wife of the late Reverend Thom Williamson Blair.
Rochet was born September 11, 1923 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Clement and Rochet Raine Sydnor.
She was devoted to her family and was a life time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son, Brantley Blair, nine brothers and one sister.
She is survived by two sons; Reverend Thom Williamson Blair, Jr. of Victoria, VA., and William Sydnor Blair of Alexandria, VA, her daughter-in-law, Mary Blair of Lynchburg, VA., one brother; Kendall Sydnor of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery.
