Roger Peters, 71, of Madison Heights, VA, died Friday, February 10, 2023.
Roger was born on October 26, 1951, in Lynchburg VA. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde Owen Peters and Helen Morris Peters both of Lynchburg. Roger was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas B. Peters of Stanton VA, and Ronald P. Peters of Lynchburg VA.
Surviving are daughter, Misty Peters Fretwell and husband Jeremy of Lynchburg; son, Joshua Peters and wife Katie of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Andrew Dephillips and wife Kelly, Sidney Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Evelyn Peters; siblings, Larry O. Peters of South Boston, and sister, Ellen P. Fagan and husband Robert of Goode, VA.
Roger was a professional musician starting in 1978 and Roger taught guitar lessons until he retired.
All services will be private.
