Ronald Arthur Davis

Ronald Arthur Davis , 72, of Hardy, VA, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born Sunday, August 21, 1938 in Lackawanna, PA, he was a son of the late Arthur Evon Davis and Frances Ryder Davis.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Beyer, and her husband, Vince, of Glen Allen, VA, his son Mark Davis and his wife, Stephanie, of Hardy, VA, six grandchildren; Ashley Nicole Currin, Michael Vincent Beyer, Nathan Wade Currin, Daniel Jonathan Beyer, Brandon Arthur Davis, and Natalie Rose Davis, his former wife, Paula Schmidt Davis, of Midlothian, VA., two brothers; Allan Davis and his wife, Carol, of Novi, MI, and Edward Davis, of Kenmore, NY, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

 Ronald proudly served our country as a member of the US Air Force.

 A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 02, 2010 at Halesford Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Halesford Baptist Church Cemetery, with military honors provided by American Legion Post 16.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
