Ronald Boyer

Ronald Boyer, 74, of Goode, Virginia died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Oakwood Manor in Bedford, Virginia.  He was the husband of Marianne Boyer for 33 years.

Born Saturday, November 13, 1948, in Coshocton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Richard Boyer and the late Janice Kitchen Boyer. After their death his Aunt Jean Watts treated Ron as her own son.

Ron was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Forest Rotary Club, served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a former High School History teacher. He and Marianne owned 3 Cats Promo after retirement he went to work at Home Depot and Lowes.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jason Boyer, and Nathan Boyer (Maki); grandchildren, Madison, Libby, Ian and Colin Boyer; a brother, Tom Watts (Jackie); a niece, Missy Guilliams, and two nephews, Tony and Andy Watts.

Along with his parents and aunt he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Ed Watts; a sister, Sue Wright.

A celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2023, at Mount View United Methodist Church. Burial at a later date in Coshocton, OH.
