Ronald Lee Overstreet

Ronald Lee Overstreet, 78, of Bedford died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at his residence.  He was the husband of Margaret Orange Overstreet for sixty years.

Born November 16, 1938 in  Bedford County, he was a son of the late  Warner and Adria Overstreet.  He is also preceded in death by two sons: Michael and Ronnie Overstreet and a daughter; Patricia Lynn Overstreet.

Ronald was a big sports fan, he enjoyed collecting coins and working out in the yard.  When he was younger he raced his bronco and he took home a lot of trophies.

In addition to his wife, Margaret, he is survived by his two daughters; Sharon O. Bryant, Angie O. Vance; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford, on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 7:00p.m. with Rev. Earl C. Ragland officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
