Ronald William Cyrus, 59, of Rustburg, died Monday, August 1, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Lois Cyrus.
Born on December 9, 1956, he was preceded in death by his parents Claude Cyrus and Kitty Taylor, a twin brother Donald Cyrus and a sister Claudia Carter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters: April (Derrick), Amber (Brandon), Whitney (Mike) and a son Jason Gowen; brother, Frank Cyrus (Susan); his sister, Wanda Watts (Jr.) ; a special niece, Teri Bragg (Arnold); his stepmother, Teddy Cyrus and his nine grandchildren: Hannah, Xavier, Caedmon, Alyssa, Jordan, Kierra, Chloe, Brennan and his little buddy Kaidon.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with Pastor Sidney Wade officiating.
