Rosa Neila Harris

Rosa Neila Harris, 75, of Madison Heights, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Rosa was born October 15, 1948, in Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Neftali Lugo-Perez and Carmen Ramos-Nieves of Puerto Rico. Rosa enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of Tree of Life Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Michael Harris of Salem, her three daughters: Noemi Creasy and husband Brandon of Madison Heights, Nina Windle and husband Rob of Green Acres, FL, and Ginger Harris of Lynchburg; her siblings: Carmen Sandovale, Gritzel Lugo Ramos, Doris Lugo, Tony Lugo, Ricardo Lugo. Rosa was especially proud of all of her 5 grandchildren: Gabrielle Reichard, Olivia Creasy, Haley and Jessica Windle and Brian Boyd. She is preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Lugo. 

We are especially thankful for Rosa's roommate, Mrs. Yvonne Cox, for being there when she needed comforting and encouragement.   

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
