Rose Blanche Krous went home to be with Jesus on August 22, 2020, where she will join her husband Walter, who preceded her in death in 2004.
Rose was born on April 6, 1933 in Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Simonne Parizo of Springfield, Vermont, who preceded her in death along with her brother Carl.
She is survived by her brother George and wife Patricia; her sister-in-law Frances; her son Paul and wife Tammy; her daughter Joyce and husband Thomas, and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and friends.
Rose was a relatively recent addition to the Lynchburg community, moving here to live near to her daughter in 2011. She moved from the Pacific Northwest where she lived for many years after relocating from Las Vegas, Nevada. Rose has always been active in her church family and a pillar of the prayer community. Rose worked alongside her husband serving their many church families in a variety of capacities, reaching out to parishioners and the public in support of their church’s ministries
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Youth With A Mission, 7085 Battle Creek Rd SE, Salem, OR 97317. Please attach a separate note that it is in honor of Rose B. Krous.
