Rose Marie Evans

Rose Marie Evans, "Marie" 46, of Madison Heights, Virginia passed away June 3, 2013 at her home. She was born October 12, 1966 in South Boston, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Evans and Cecile Anderson.

In addition to her father she was proceeded in death by her brother Jerry Evans. Marie is survived by her devoted partner for 28 years James Brooks. She is also survived by loving daughter and best friend Jamie Goff and her husband Josh Goff. In addition to her daughter she is also survived by her son Hunter Evans, his fiancée Kristi Logwood and cherished granddaughter Darla' Anne Marie Evans. Marie was also a loving sister to Jimmy "Red" Evans and his girlfriend Crystal Brooks.

She was an avid lover of nature and animals. Marie also enjoyed time with her loving mother at bingo, and spending time with her beloved cat, "Prissy". In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Amherst humane society. Special thanks to Tharp Funeral Home of Madison Heights for assisting the family in arrangements.
