Rose Mary McGhee Comer, 75, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born November 26, 1942, in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Leona Beulah McGhee and William Steele McGhee, Jr.
She was an artistic and creative person, who was always decorating her home depending on the season or the holiday.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Nelson Glenn Comer of Bedford, and her son, William Comer of Lynchburg.
Graveside service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Longwood Cemetery conducted by Rev. Johnny Gupton. The family will receive friends Thursday at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
