Ruby “Bea” Staples Sheppard, 96, of Madison Heights passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, ten sisters, her husband and daughter.
Surviving are a son, Charles R. Sheppard and a number of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held at New Beginning Tabernacle Church Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11:00 am. Directions to the church- from Lynchburg take 29 N to Coolwell Road, turn right at Coolwell Road, church will be a half mile on the left.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Madison Heights Christian Church, 149 Main St, Madison Heights, VA 24572 or to Meals on Wheels, 605 Clay St, Lynchburg, VA 24504.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health Care and Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their loving care.
