Ruby Pannell Morgan, 78, went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 16, 2017. She was the wife of the late William Owen Morgan, Sr.
Ruby was born December 1, 1938 in Lynchburg a daughter of the late Joshua Pannell and Sally Snead Pannell. She was a member of Christ Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Antionette; six sons: Sherman (Patricia), William, Jr. (Amanda), Wendell (Audrey), David, Kenneth (Tara), and Charles (Valarie); 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Gwendolyn Austin, Barbara Broadus (Raymond), and Sally Thompson.
A Celebration of Ruby’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Christ Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
